I’ve been photographing and printing since the days of film cameras and then into the age of digital which meant learning the rudiments and techniques of digital printing from camera to quality print.
Quality digital printing relies on being able to get accurate colours (assuming not mono) from the camera to screen and then print. This can’t really be done by trial and error but by profiling the screen, inks and individual papers which is what I do.
Large format printers and quality printing can be expensive but with my equipment I can offer a printing service to others who would like quality bespoke prints from A4 to A1.
